Since you requested visual documentation of the hair crime committed in our bathroom, I hereby present the following photos.
Exhibit#1&2: This is what I looked like after coercing Phil into cutting my hair:
Exhibit#3,4&5: My hair after professional intervention:
Exhibit#6: A picture of the Bean to increase the post's cuteness quotient:

Hee hee hee! The professional intervention was very successful. You look lovely! As does the Bean, of course!
In all seriousness, the two of you are both so beautiful --
You crack me up, Erika! Your hair is beautiful... but no haircut could compromise the beauty of your face!! Miss you, girl!!
Your original haircut photos are brilliant!!
:)
Hahaha, these first pictures are great! :-)))
But I really must say that you look very beatiful with your new hairdo!
And Erika, if you want to know who I am, you can check Conny Wenk's blog, my son and I are the newest post at the moment! Might be nice for you to have a face with the person that comments now and then, I thought!
I agree with Elizabeth
wow, i got a post, just for me!
i think the pictures of your hair when phil did it were great. they really add to your natural beauty! ;-) You should have kept it that way!
This post came on my Google Reader so I first read it without seeing the photos -- a good surprise when I saw them!
Cuteness all around. J
oh, you look plenty cute in a dark, mysterious way... we can always pin it on the sunglasses if you don't favor the comment. Interesting part is that even the countenance changed as your personal stylist corrected the already perfect hairstyle. BTW, didn't the dude play some kind of an assassin? Laci
You guys! You are too sweet complimenting me on my haircut and not telling me I look like a dude :) I love you all.
Beate - The photos of you and Finn are breathtaking! Conny is such an amazing photographer and she did an awesome job capturing all the love and joy and beauty floating around you guys. Finn is so adorable you just want to give him a big squeezy hug and those individual pictures of you belong to Vogue. Seriously, everybody should look at them, here: http://connywenk.com/blog/2011/07/beate_finn.html
Jenn- Yes, the first version was flattering, except it brought out the harsher, masculine features of my face :)
Laci - Yes, hair and makeup can make a huge difference and can totally change a person's face. Haven't you seen any of those 'ugly-duckling-turn-into-swan' type of hollywood masterpieces when the homely main character gets a haircut, puts on makeup, takes off her glasses and transforms into homecoming queen? Now that's what you just witnessed here. And yes, that is Javier Bardem portraying the coldblooded sociopath assassin in 'No country for old man' and illustrating that even someone as smashingly handsome as Javier Bardem can look utterly unattractive with the right haircut.
I'm happy to see you finally embracing Hollywood, now that you are a glamour-cali-girl. However I do feel cheated that you used a double to pose for you as you were too ashamed to show off your hubby's pristine touch. Now I'm not sure that I want to show you my transvestite pictures where I look very exquisite... I thought those pics were from the 80's. Laci
ugh, you- look like a guy? Puh lease. You still got it, girl...even if you dont feel like you do...
Erika, thank you so much for your beautiful comment! :-*
