A minimalist mood update

1. This is how I feel about seizures in general:

2. This is how I feel about seizures recurring every 15-60 seconds:

3. This is how I feel while waiting for the neurologist to return my phone calls about recurring seizures:

What is it with these doctors......

Call, call, and keep calling.

Yikes.

In a stern and serious voice, say to the doctor's office: "I need you to immediately ask the doctor for the name of a neurologist who I can talk to about my daughter's situation since he won't." I've done it. It works.

Hang in there.

Came over from Claire's blog too. I too am having problems with my son's seizures and am awaiting the elusive call from the epilepsy nurse.

Sending you positive thoughts and healing vibes :)

Having recently spent three days in ICU after a bout of our boy Samuel seizing every 2 minutes for 36 hrs I get your frustration... as single dad says.. stand your ground and ask for a referal to someone who WILL respond to you ..

Why do neurologist do that?!?!!? It is so frustrating, it doesn't matter if it is an emergency or a question about medicine you are lucky if you ever receive a call back! I hope your LO is doing better.

I came over from Claire's blog. Not too long ago, we were in a similar situation . . . 2 minute seizures every 10 minutes. It sucked. I can't imagine them recurring every 15-60 seconds.

Hugs, thoughts, prayers, and the whole nine.
