Today:

Izzy was intubated this morning because her SpO2 level was dropping into the 60s, a result of being under heavy sedation. We are waiting to find out whether or not the drug presently being administered to her has stopped the status epilepticus. If not, they will induce a coma.

praying, still!
Thinking of you all, sending hugs.
Erika,
My heart aches when I see these pictures. I am so very sorry and I really do hope they will be able to help the sweet little bean as soon as possible.
Keeping you in my prayers!!!
My thoughts are with you
Praying for Izzy ands you. Sending lots of hugs your way.
Hugs...and all the love I have.
Erika, I know what it's like to watch your child when they're intubated. That inability to do anything for them and just seeing them so still is very strange. Then they come out of it and they're OK. I'm thinking of you all and hoping you'll all be home again soon.
Marcelle.
Oh, Erika, I am just a blog follower, following your journey with Izzy, and my heart is broken. I have two typical adult daughters but I've been in special education for over 30 years. Know that you have inspired many people with your blog, that we also love Izzy and her spirit, and want the best for you and her. Prayers and love from afar.
I've been traveling for the last three weeks and am just catching up with your blog. I'm thinking of you and Izzy. So sorry this is happening.
Izzy and you and Phil are constantly in our thoughts. What a little trooper she is.
We love you and are praying for you Izzy!! Get well soon!! We need to see you soon wearing your fabulous sunglasses. You don't know me or my daughter, but we are riding with you on this journey. <3 <3
Stay positive Erika.
