Out

Izzy was discharged from the hospital after three days, Friday afternoon, after she had been pumped up with IV fluids and her lab results had swung back to normal. After she woke up from her 48-hour nap and her big blue eyes popped open, she immediately started smiling, kicking and vocalizing and she hasn't stopped since. She already has her grandparents wrapped around her little baby carrot fingers and they are absolutely powerless against her toothy grin. She doesn't mind it a bit that someone is always holding her, playing with her, singing to her, talking to her, cuddling with her or kissing her. Based on her constant happy sounds and happy sighs, she thoroughly enjoys being the center of the universe.

Oh, I am so happy to hear that. And don't you dare let your parents keep Izzy for themselves! We want her back here as soon as possible! :)
